My time in Hawaii-I met one of my heroes in the faith
Today I met one of my spiritual heroes of the faith. It was in around December or January that I first learned about Randy and Gay Hongo. I was able to listen to their music and their testimonies and it immediately made an impact on my life. It made me remember how it’s not about what I do for God but that I need to spend time getting to know God and loving and worshipping Him! I’m thankful for his reminder that what God really wants is our heart and for us to spend time with Him and love Him!!! I’ve been listening to Gay’s music and listening to her sing so much that it was almost as if I already knew her! So when I saw her when her and Chey came and picked me up I didn’t really know what to say! I never thought I would actually meet her but she was everything I imagined and was so sweet and godly! I’m thankful for great women of God like Gay Hongo and am thankful that God brought her into my life to help me become more like Christ!!
