Encouraging one another in Christ
I’ve struggled with and through many different things in my life and sometimes I’ve wondered why. Ive questioned and doubted things sometimes. I’ve questioned and doubted my faith sometimes. I think a lot of people have done that if they are really honest. I’ve had questions I thought I couldn’t answer and that I thought no one else will be able to answer it either. But through it all God has always been there for me. He has shown me how He is working in my life many times. God has brought so many people in my life to help me with my questions from the Bible and from their own experiences in their life. One is my friend God brought into my life! She has prayed with me and has shown me from God’s Word and from her life experiences. It was always so good to talk to her and find out that some things I had struggled with were things that she had struggled with. She was able to share with me what she had learned from the Bible and from people in her life. She had gone through the same or similar struggles and had come out of it with her faith stronger. She has helped me to answer the questions I have had and challenges I might have had from the Bible and has helped me to be more like Christ and to live my life in a way that brings God glory! Living moment by moment for Jesus and dying to self! I wonder if that might be what it is talking about in Hebrews 12:1, “Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also lay aside every encumbrance and the sun which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us.”
Something I thought of last night is maybe the reason I’ve gone through the struggles I have had is so that I can help other people who might have the same struggles! I believe the Bible has the answers to all of life’s problems and shows us how to respond to trials and circumstances. Isn’t that what we are supposed to do? Pray for each other, encourage each other, build each other up in love and teach from the Bible what it means to live a life modeled after Christ and that points people to the light and love of Christ?
“But encourage one another day after day, as long as it is still called “Today,” so that none of you will be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin.” Hebrews 3:13
“We urge you, brethren, admonish the [a]unruly, encourage the fainthearted, help the weak, be patient with everyone.” 1 Thessslonians 5:14

Lisa, I have seen you grow so very much in your knowledge and love for Christ. This is a wonderful testimony of how great God is and how he has helped you to strive to do His will, Philippians 1:6 says: Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. Romans 15:13 says: May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him,,, Just continue to "live a life modeled after Christ"
