Looking to Christ for peace

I don’t know if you ever feel like you are alone.  I don’t know if you ever just get sad or discouraged.  I don’t know if you ever feel incomplete or lacking satisfaction or peace but I can tell you that I know who you can turn to during those times.  Some people might not be satisfied with this answer or they may think it seems to easy but I can tell you I have felt this way at times also and the only person who can give you complete joy and satisfaction is Christ.  There’s nothing better than spending time in the presence of Christ! Pray to Him and tell Him how you are feeling.  Listen to His Holy Spirit and when you feel His conviction repent and turn from your sin and turn to Christ! He loves you more than anybody else ever will.  When we sin or make mistakes and it seems like people never really forget it Christ completely forgives you and doesn’t remember your sin any more.

“As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us.” Psalm 103:12

“Come to Me, all who are heavy and weary-laden and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28

“You will show me the path of life; in Your presence is fullness of joy; at Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.” Psalm 16:11

“The righteous cry out, and the Lord heads, and delivers them out of all their troubles.  The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves such as has a contrite spirit.” Psalm 34:17-18

“But You, O Lord, are a shield about me, my glory, and the One who lifts my head.” Psalm 3:3

  1. We all have or have had the things you talked about. It is so wonderful that we can pray to Jesus and tell Him all the things we are feeling. I love to claim the verse "Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. John 14:27." Thank you for sharing with us.
