Give it to God

There are so many things in life that could worry you or stress you but when it comes down to it I think life is so much more than that.  This life might have trials and tribulations and troubles and worries but we can’t forget that this life is just preparation for Heaven.  It’s just a moment really and soon we will be with Jesus and the things we have done, both good and bad, and the things  we’ve done for God will all be measured.  We can’t forgot in the midst of all the troubles and worries who is ultimately in control.  We can’t forgot that God has us.  He goes before us and behind us.  If we give our worries and the things that bother us to God He will sustain us.  He will help us to bear our burdens.  He loves us and has a purpose for our lives and a plan for our life’s. One of my mentors told me one time that a lot of things we worry about are things we don’t even know if they will happen or not.  We spend our time thinking and worrying about things that might not even happen.  I do that too y’all but it seems to me that is sinful worrying and not trusting God or giving it to Him.  Next time you start to worry about something that might not happen or that maybe will or already has remember that God is in control and to give it to God.  Remember that these momentary afflictions are just that, momentary and soon we will be in Heaven rejoicing with Jesus.  All pain and sorrow will be gone! What a glorious day it will be!

  1. That's a great thought, when you are meeting trouble, you are easily groaning why I am in this situation, while you mostly forget the almighty god is with you, and he will protect you and guide you a way to overcome them. It is very hard to keep calm when you are not in a smooth mode, but you have to pray more, and the more you keep lord in your mind, the less panic you will be when you meet with trouble, and less impatience will you have too.

  2. Thanks for sharing. A great reminder. Life is just a temporary prep for the next. I was thinking of the verse “I go to prepare a place for you” this morning. This reminds me of a parent excitedly making preparations for a grown child to come home 🏡 for the holidays. He awaits us with joy.
